| Aggy's Foundation was created in loving memory of a most sweet natured mixed breed dog who loved all things great and small. Her knickname was "Sweetie" which perfectly describes her very being. |
| Aggy 1985 - 2002 |
| This beautiful mixed breed lady was adopted from an Animal Shelter when she was only twelve weeks of age. Being the last puppy from a litter of twelve, it was also her last chance for adoption. She was battling Parvo Virus and had been abused. She was the epitamy of the "Heinz 57" mixed breed. What was known of her lineage included Collie, Golden Retriever, Australian Shephard and Borzoi. Cringing in the furthest corner of her cage, she was retrieved and brought to the lobby for our consideration. After several minutes a toddler of about three years old came in with her parents. The puppy, tentatively approached the little girl, wagged her tail, and gently licked the child's hand. We knew then, that there was a big heart in this little pup and hope as well. She walked to us, set a paw on our leg and looked into our eyes. We looked down and said "Sold...and your name is Aggy". |
